When we are setting up a system, of course, we are going to be taking steps to make sure that it does not break down. Then there are certain circumstances that could come around and the system won’t work as it should. A  lot of times it is just part of the age of the system itself. Actually one of the important parts of any repair is knowing when you have to start over. As a business, we think it is really important to be straightforward with our clients. It is totally unethical on our part to get repairs done that we know won’t last. So we don’t do them!

What Are The More Common Issues?

In the past, we had a lot of sprinkler heads breaking. This could happen for a variety of reasons. Some of these sprinklers work with an elevator system. So if that feature breaks then the sprinkler does not get off the ground. This is a simple fix, but it can be a major problem down the line for your lawn. If you see large puddles forming after the sprinklers have been on this could be one of the signs that you have a problem. Our advice would be don’t ignore the signs.

Having Clogged Pipe

Usually, pipes in which the water that is poured out of the sprinkler flows are not commonly going to get clogged up. That is because these pipes essentially are only carrying clean water. This is kind of a one way trip for that water. So the main problems with pipes are leaks. That could happen from trying to force too much water into the system or rock or things underground that shift and hit the pipe. A lot of times when you are not getting water to the sprinklers the problem could be with your home plumbing. 

When Is It Repair When Is It Replace?

A lot of the things like sprinkler heads, buttons, and knobs in the controls of the system are going to be replaced when something goes wrong. This is not a big deal though. Most of these fixtures are not going to be overly expensive, to begin with. So we don’t anticipate this to be a major problem. When we are talking about things like pipelines or more complex installations we are usually going to be able to repair those. The bottom line is that we are going to handle the situation how we both see it working out best in the long run.

How Common Is The Need For Repairs?

The most common repair or replace issue involves sprinkler heads. If we are talking about a lawn that people literally never walk on you are going to be able to avoid that problem. So, we really don’t see why you would need repairs for many years after having a system installed. If you have an older system that could be another story though. The same thing goes for any appliance though.
